2011 High School Volleyball City Championship
The 2011 High School Volleyball regular season has come to an end. Congrats to all of our League Champions:
Middle College co-champ (District 16A) B.T. Washington co-champ (District 16A)
Douglass (District 15AA)
Carver (District 16AA)
White Station (District 16AAA)
Cordova (District 14/15AAA)
The City Championship finals took place on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Congratulations to our A/AA City Champions Carver High School led by Coach Wadlington who defeated Middle College High School to finish at 20-1. The Outstanding Player honor was awarded to Tiffany Givens a Middle Hitter for Carver.
In the AAA City Championship final, Cordova High School defeated White Station High School for the AAA title. Cordova is led by Coach Jauregui and finished the season at 19-10. The Outstanding Player honor in the AAA Championship was awarded to Claudia Haywood an Outside Hitter for Cordova.
Congratulations to all the teams who competed in the 2011 Season and Championships, and good luck to everyone in the District Tournament.
